Madang Avenue - Update on activities for the last week of Term 3
Students will continue to work from home and to attend school when this is not possible.
Learning packs for Week 10 will continue to be available for collection during the week.
Teachers appreciate the return of any completed work and the opportunity to give feedback on the efforts being made by students to do their best work.
Zoom Meetings
Discos
This week we are running discos as Zoom Meetings and hoping that the students can join in. As with all our Zoom meetings, you will receive a text message the day before the event as a reminder and to provide log in details. The first disco is at midday tomorrow for students in Infants classes and all other grades are scheduled for a disco at various times on Friday.
Life Skills sessions with Miss Danni
On Wednesday and Thursday this week we will be presenting Life Skills sessions as Zoom meetings. You will be advised of the time and log in details for your child’s meeting on the day before it takes place.
Students will be asked to find a space to be able to participate in some wellbeing and movement activities. Families are also welcome to participate in the lessons.
After the initial welcome with Miss Danni checking in, participants will be muted until the end of the session.
Class meetings
Be sure to check the meeting time in the text message you receive as changes were necessary due to the scheduling of so many extra meetings for next week.
The Madang Avenue Public School Website Wellbeing Treasure Hunt begins tomorrow.
- Go to the school website (https://madangave-p.schools.nsw.gov.au) or simply Google us with the school’s name.
- Find the 8 numbered stars. Click on them to reveal a part (one or two words) of the secret sentence chosen to celebrate our focus on Wellbeing this week.
- Once you have found the words linked to all 8 stars, rearrange them to make the secret sentence.
- Submit your entry to the school email (madangave-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au) to be registered as an amazing website detective. Don’t forget to include your name on your entry.
