Advice for parents 3rd September
For all primary classes (3M, 3LK, 4L, 4/5W, 3/6HR, 5K, 5M, 6G, 6QF)
A copy of a fiction book and related learning activities for next week’s program are available for collection today (Friday) until 5pm and tomorrow (Saturday) from 9am until 1pm.
Infants classes and Special Education classes will continue to work on packs we provided last week with their planning for 2 weeks. If not already collected, these packs will also be available at the above times. This includes an activity pack for all Preschool students.
Details about the learning planned for the last week of this term (Week 10) commencing Monday September 13 will be provided during next week.
The school will be closed from September 20 to October 4 during the official vacation break between Term 3 and Term 4. Although there will be no Zoom sessions and teachers will not be contacting students during these weeks, this would be an opportunity to catch up on any work not completed or to keep practising reading and finish the books given out in Term 3.
The Department of Education continues to recommend that children learn from home and to assure families that the school and preschool remain open for families who need to send them. We greatly appreciate the effort our families continue to make in supporting the continuity of their children’s education.
We wish everyone a Happy Family Day on Sunday and hope that you will be able to connect with those most important to you, if not in person, at least from a distance.
